Bare Pots exist to make reusing nursery pots easy, while keeping things low-waste and low-fuss.

Our sustainability approach

• Reuse first – instead of buying new ceramic or plastic covers, Bare Pots are designed so you can keep using the plastic nursery pot you already have.

• Cardboard, not more plastic – our covers are made from cardboard, so when you’re finished with them, they can be recycled through normal household recycling (check your local council rules).

• Flat-packed shipping – Bare Pots ship flat to reduce packaging and transport volume.

• Buy Local First - we could make Bare Pots cheaper overseas but that does not help improve our local economy and is not environmentally friendly. All products including our packaging is produced here in Sydney, lowering our carbon footprint and highlighting that business can do things responsibly.

Our social impact (now and future)

Bare Pots is building towards a model where parts of our packing and fulfilment work can be done by people with disabilities or people who find traditional work environments challenging.

Our goal is to create flexible, meaningful work that fits people’s lives not the other way around. As this grows, we’ll share more detail and stories here.
